David George Hobbs, peacefully at Great Western Hospital, with his family by his side on 9th April 2026, aged 85 years.
The beloved husband of Helen, adored Dad of Amanda and Emma, cherished father-in-law to Mike and Guillaume and much-loved Gramps to Olly, Immy, Théo, Mia and Samuel. A friend to many who will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral service to be held at North Wiltshire Crematorium on Friday 1st May at 12.30pm. No dress code
Donations in lieu of flowers would be appreciated for Prospect Hospice and Alzheimer’s Society. These may be sent c/o Mead Family Funerals, 10 St John Road, Wroughton SN4 9ED, or left in the collection box on the day.
Following the service, a further celebration of David’s life will be held at The Wroughton Working Men’s Club, Bulls Court, Devizes Road, Wroughton SN4 0SA
