To my big bother I miss you so much RIP glyn sending my love and big hugs up to you xxxxx
I feel so sad writing this.
I don’t actually think you realised just how much you affected so many people’s lives, in such a joyous and positive way.
When I think about you, all I can think about is the laughter, the fun, and the conversations about absolute tosh that somehow brought so much joy and lightness.
And how you made me laugh. God, how you made me laugh.
It’s quite overwhelming seeing the number of people posting about you and reading just how much you meant to so many of them. And it makes me feel so very sad to think that perhaps you never truly knew the impact you had.
I hope you did, mate. I really hope you realised just how much you meant to people.
It brings me great sadness knowing that you’re no longer out there in the world, saving people, getting them home safely, and making people laugh along the way.
Rest tight, dear friend. I hope you can finally be at peace.
Sending you the biggest love.
Joolz x ❤️
Dearest friend, it with shock and much sadness to hear of your passing the times we had are to be remembered and cherished.
I will also remember the kindness you gave to my mum and dad as their personal taxi driver as they got older you would always see they got home safe right up to the door and wait until the door was secure and the lights were on . And then call me to say so! It gave me great reassurance they were safe with you in an ever unsafe world.
And me too, back in the dark days of homophobia, when I was with you I felt safe. My late mum always said what a gentleman, you were.
The late night parties at the Rough House will bring me to one song,
A Design for Life by the Manic Street Preachers; and you did just that, designed your life your way and no one would dare tell you differently. And good for you bud!
Thank you for everything the friendship the support, the love and laughs.
Take flight, drive safe on your final journey to the sky.

Dear Glyn,
I’m so sorry you are gone, you were a good friend to me over the years, I will always remember you for your kindness, sense of fun and daft sense of humour. I remember you telling me you were having secret singing lessons and learning songs from Westside story and sometimes at the end of a party we occasionally got a rendition of Maria or your favourite song Port of Amsterdam. Rip lovely Glyn

It makes me so sad to know you’re not in this world anymore Glyn. You were a lovely, man, always a brilliant friend to me, and as friends go, ‘the gold at rainbow’s end’, and I’ll forever be grateful for that. They were some of the best of times of my life those years down the Castle, Levs and post club gatherings at your flat, and I will cherish those memories forever. Fly high and rest in eternal peace my dear friend. I hope you’re now at the stars for free. As you wrote in one of your last messages to me, ‘I miss ya.luv peace xxx’ Love me, Claire, and Gary and Dylan (after family, you were one of the first people to hold him when he was born) Xxx
Ah Glyn, so sorry to hear of your passing. We had many great chats in the cab over the years! Rest in peace old friend x
