Joyce Lilian Backes
Joyce Lilian Backes peacefully at home on Saturday 16th October 2021 aged 93 years.
The beloved mother of Carl, and mother in law to Wendy, Joyce will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her during her long and varied life.
Funeral service to be held at North Wiltshire Crematorium Swindon on Tuesday 9th November at 12 noon. Joyce and her family have requested no black and family flowers only please. Donations in her memory for the Prospect Hospice can be sent to 10 St John Road, more information on 814602.
Joyce will leave from her much loved home in Coronation Road at approximately 11:30am.

Sad to hear this. I was only thinking about Joyce recently and wondering how things were. A lovely lady and a real asset to John Haines’ dental practice. A really lovely picture, just as I remember her too. ❤️
