Roland Jefferies (Roly) passed away peacefully at home on 10th May 2026, aged 86 years.
A much loved husband of Mary, Dad to David & Grandpa to Jackson and Hattie. A wonderful friend and neighbour who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral service to be held at North Wiltshire Crematorium on Thursday 4th June at 2.30pm.
Family flowers only, however donations in Roland’s memory will be gratefully received for The Stroke Association UK. These may be left in the collection box following the service or sent c/o Mead Family Funerals, 10 St John Road, Wroughton SN4 9ED.

My sincere condolences to Mary,David and his grandchildren Jackson and Hattie. I have known the family and Roly since I was 4 or 5 years old and remember as a child being fascinated with his love for his birds and the aviary he had in his garden. He was a great man who always had a smile and didn’t take life to seriously! May he rest in peace knowing he was loved by so many!
