I’m shocked and saddened. I worked with Suze back in the late 90’s and remember her with great fondness as a funny, optimistic and incredibly kind and compassionate friend.
So sad to hear about Suze’s passing. I first met Suze when she was Chair of Swindon IVC and had just joined up. She was a very caring, funny, clever and a very good organiser.
She was loved by so many and they loved her. Rest in peace Suze. Much love

I first met Susan a few years ago when she welcomed us into her home for a few days. Being a friend of Simon since school, but living so far away we only occasionally caught up in person, but it was always like we had never parted.
In the few years I have known Susan, she has been so kind, especially over the last few years. I seriously do not know how I could have managed without her help. We were so looking forward to repaying some of this kindness in the future with Susan and Simon visiting us in Australia. But tragically this will never happen, we will miss them both so much.
Our thoughts and love are with the family at this sad time.
Sad news, until me meet again. Goodbye my friend,
Thoughts to Simon & Mark
Our niece Susan was my six year old bridesmaid at our wedding 62 years ago. Throughout the years we have so enjoyed her buoyant personality, her advice and support, and admired the way she coped with adversity. She will be missed by so many.
Still cannot quite believe you are no longer with us Susan. Always full of life and never complaining, you will be sorely missed by all the family and I know by a wide circle of friends.
I could not have asked for a kinder, more caring cousin. Keep partying special lady

Susan was my dads God daughter. He always had a special bond with Susan and was very proud and admired how she overcame many health issues throughout her life.
I am so very sad to read about Susan especially after losing her mother Mary and father Eric within the last couple of years. We had some great times at the Barrett parties Much love to Mark and family xx
I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Suze departure from this world. She was an old dear friend who through the years has had more than her fair share of health issues but has always bounced back. I will miss her enthusiasm for life and friendliness. My heart goes out to Simon, her brother Mark and her wider family members.
Very sad news.
I first met Simon 34 years ago when we both bought our flats in Bristol.
His life was complete and happy when he met sue.
They were a lovely couple, both kind and caring to others.
My thoughts are with you Simon and mark
It was a pleasure to know Suze, to call her my friend and whose company I will solely miss.
Sending love to Simon and Mark. X
My heart goes out to Simon, who made Susan so happy later in life. I too am shocked and immensely saddened by the news of my sister-in-law’s death. Susan’s nephew Henry, niece Florence and myself will be watching her funeral service from Canada. It will be hard for Susan’s brother Mark to give a third eulogy from the same church, but he’ll do his best, as always. It is some comfort to know that Susan’s ashes will be buried alongside her mother, father and older brother David, my late husband, under the bench he made. Sincere condolences to family and Susan’s many friends who are grieving with us.
Sandra,
That’s lovely
Mark

So very sad to lose our dear friend Suzé, after some 38 years. Always where the action was, full of a zest for life despite her struggles. We could see that time was beginning to tell on her, but it was still a great shock and sorrow to hear the news.
To Simon and to Mark and family, we send our love and condolences, and strength for the long road ahead.
So shocked and sorry to hear this news, a lovely lady. Our prayers and thoughts to Simon and the family

I am so very sad to hear this.
My late friend David Edwards was a good friend of Sue and the last time I saw her, was at his funeral. David would have been so upset at this news so I’m posting for him. Sue was such a lovely, kind lady.
My thoughts go out to her family.
